Drinks Among Friends is a grass roots organization that brings women in the legal community together, regardless of their practice setting, with the overarching goal of empowering women in their legal practices, in their roles as business women, and in their aspirations to lead. Through its relationship building opportunities, crowd sourced educational events, and social media and web presence, Drinks Among Friends seeks to encourage and drive the business and legal communities to share the power among women lawyers through collaboration, relationship building, celebration, and storytelling. Founded in Omaha, Nebraska in February 2014, Drinks Among Friends is expanding its presence to the women of the Kansas City metropolitan area legal community in May 2015.
